How can I resolve a custom domain error in my online store?

I’m getting custom domain error

’ there’s an issue with your stores domain name.’ What would you advise to do can it be changed? Do I delete the domain not sure what to do?

Though the error message doesn't seem to be complete, it's possible that the domain is connected to another Shopify store. If reconnecting the domain isn't able to resolve this issue, then it looks like we'll need to access your account in order to resolve this issue.
