How does the MTN Momo pay system work with my business in Zambia?

Hello Shopify,

I am starting my Shopify business and had multiple issues on which payment gateway methods or systems to use because majority of them are not available for my country (Zambia) Now, I basically found one promising payment method for Shopify that is commonly used even in my country and it's called MTN Momo pay. Regardless of me finding out that it's a payment method provided by Shopify, I needed to ask if you could provide more details on how this payment method works for Shopify specifically...

Details involving;

- Whether I'll be receiving money in my Momo pay account in dollars or kwacha

-if it will be able to convert the money I've received to my currency which is kwacha, that's if it's received in dollars or any other currency.

- And many more

I really hope I have made my question clear and that I should be able to receive a response in a little time... because I have too much respect for this company to lose on such a simple topic.

You will need to ask those questions to your payment gateway, Momo Pay. When you use a third-party payment gateway all your funds go into the bank account you have attached to Momo Pay or your account with them. We do not have access to their information or how exactly their gateway works.
