How long until payment is received after a transaction?

Hi, I have just recently set up a new online shop. I ran a test purchase through on Sunday & the payout schedule although set to every business day is still pending.

I have set up a bank account to pay out to, and have set up 2FA as requested, and there are no outstanding actions on my part that I am aware of.

From the point of capturing the transaction and fulfilling it, how long do payments take to come through to my specified payout bank account?

You can schedule the payouts so that you can get receive payouts at regular intervals. However, it's important to note that the pay period for Shopify Payments in the United Kingdom is 3 business days as indicated on our guide and, depending on your bank, the bank could also take 1-3 days to process the deposit into your bank account. You can see the scheduled payout dates, which is when Shopify sends the funds to your bank, by viewing your payouts or viewing an order's timeline.

If you'd like to receive your payouts sooner, then you can consider signing up for a Shopify Balance account. However, we don't recommend placing an actual order using your own credit card for testing Shopify Payments. Instead, we'd recommend having a friend or family member place an order for you if you'd like the test to be an actual order.
