How to prevent auto-renewal of domain on inactive stores?

Hey! So I have numerous inactive stores with you guys, I am curious how I can make sure my domains aren’t set to auto renew without paying to activate the store

Hi, @Bizardi95. I'm happy to look into this with you! To clarify, did you purchase these domains through Shopify or through a third party domain provider?

If you purchased these domains within Shopify and did not turn off auto-renew or transfer your domain away from Shopify before you closed your store, you would need to log back in to your account to manage these settings. If your store is closed or frozen, you would typically need to pay your subscription to get back into your account. In this situation I'd recommend speaking with our support team through the Help Center. We can't see your account details here over the Shopify Community, but if you speak with us through the page I shared we would be able to look into this with you in more detail to see what options we have to help you further with this.
