I want disable Google's Captcha

Hi @lushlemon,

To Disable Google reCaptcha:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store> Preferences.

  2. Under Checkout Protection, uncheck Enable Google reCaptcha.
  3. Click Save.

But this is for merchants using the Shopify Plus plan only for checkout, but possible for all plans for contact forms

The only other way 

The only other way to get reCaptcha disabled is to file a request with Shopify Support.  We would need to access your account in order to do so. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Hi, I tried the method you suggested 

but newsletter set up still asks for the google captcha and i end up loosing customer signups because of that 

please let me know what can be done

it is disables as of now but is still appears on www.rababrugs.com

Hi @rababrugs,

I did a test sign up for your Newsletter (you can delete the contact email in your admin if you want) and it seemed to go through ok without any captcha appearing.

That is a third party plugin
the original one with the theme is not working without catcha

please let me know if you want to test it i can enable it if required

It's very difficult to know why this might be happening or to test this out without taking a closer look into your store. Because we can't look at store specific queries isn't possible via the community currently for privacy and security reasons. HI Nick,

 

I have also disabled this on my shop but about 10 hrs ago but its still there when trying to sign up.  How long does it take for it to come down?

Hi @HelenWillis,

That is very strange if you disabled it and it's still there. Without taking a closer look into your store, it's difficult to know why this might be. Can you double check you've followed the correct steps as shown in the guide here, please. 

If it is still there later now, can you reach out to our support team directly about this, please? You will need to log in here for verifcation purposes and then talk to someone in real time via live chat or callback or by email. Currently we are unable to look into individual stores on the community for security reasons.
