Is it possible to have more than one Shopify store?

I have a shopify store and recently a friend asked me if I would help him create a shopify store.  He wants me to set it up and run it for him but of course payments would go to his account.  What's the best way to do this please?  Can I create a second store using my current log in but have different banking, payment info etc or do I need to create an entirely new account?  Thank you

You can create a second store using the same email; however, it will require using a new admin as you can not manage both stores from one area. Our Single Sign-On (SSO) feature allows you to easily toggle between the stores you have access to. You can learn more about SSO here.

If your friend is going to be the owner of the business, then I would recommend creating the store under their name, then adding yourself as a full access staff member. Your friend can then log in and add the necessary payment information while still providing you with the proper access to operate the store.
