Is Shopify a good option for a new business venture?

I am starting a brand new endeavor, with a brand new product. I have my own website, and also plan on selling from social media platforms. Will Shopify be a good option for me. Thank you!

I believe Shopify would be an awesome choice for you! Can you tell me what you're going to be selling, and what is your plan? 

The first thing I would recommend doing is signing up for a free trial here, this allows you to get a feel for how the platform works and if it is a right fit for you.

In regard to social selling, we do have a tool called Linkpop. Linkpop is our free tool that enables you to create a shoppable landing page accessible through social media apps. A shoppable landing page is a web page designed to showcase products or services in a visually appealing and interactive way, with the primary goal of driving conversions and sales. It allows visitors to browse and purchase products directly from the landing page itself, without the need to navigate to a separate online store or product listing.

This page can be linked to anywhere, but they’re typically linked to via the user’s social media profile in the bio for example on Instagram. You do not need to have a Shopify store to create a Linkpop page, but you won’t be able to use the commerce features of the products—unless you create one or link your existing store to your Linkpop page.

Hi Maz, thank you so much for taking the time to share all that info with me. 🙏🏽

I currently do not have an official platform. I did build a website, and it’s up and running, but I don’t have e-commerce set up, and really haven’t begun to push my line of puzzles, only because I have just 5 puzzles complete.

I can start with just 5 puzzles, and it will give me an idea of how well they are accepted and sell. I have a manufacturer, and so they’re ready to go anytime. I also just finished my box designs for each puzzle. Oh, and I’m also applying for a trademark and going to also do brand registry.
