Is there an app that automatically issues dynamic voucher codes?

Hi All,

I have an example scenario below and am wondering if there is an app which can help achieve the desired outcome:

- Customer is issued a one time use voucher code for £100 store credit and makes a £50 order
- The original voucher code is then disabled, and a new one time voucher code is issued for £50
- Later, the customer makes another order for £30. The £50 voucher code is then disabled and new a voucher code is issued for £20.. and so on. 

Essentially, is there an app which can automatically provide dynamic voucher codes to a customer based on the amount the used of the previous voucher code?

This use case should fit a gift card. Why not use that?

the client doesn't want to, as issuing gift cards messes with their shopify
