Is there buyer protection when purchasing from a Shopify vendor?

This outfit does not have a website or a FB page but has a Shopify site.  It does not list a phone number and its email address does not accept messages.  It's prices are very good, but there is reason to be concerned whether it is legit.  Is there any protection built into the use of the app to purchase from a Shopify vendor?
