Size filtering

Is there any solution for filtering by size? It can't be a static filtering because our size avialability changes the minute we sell something. Our customers are way too busy to have to sort through all of our products to see which items are available by size. I'm very surprised that Shopify has not solved this as this impacts conversion as much or more than anything else.

It's frustrating the wah Shopify Staff constantly point us towards paid apps to do the basic functions that Shopify should have as standard. It's completely ridiculous to have a filtering system that plainly doesn't work at all. Too busy counting their profits to give a damn about their customers.

Melissa - it IS a native function, it just doesn't work!!!!!!!

(And why can we only attach PPT and other useless file formats to these messages? How about good old JPG and PDF, or is that something else that's too tricky for Shopify to resolve?)
