Suddently missing variants metafields

Hi I’m writing here because I’m encountering a strange problems with my products.
In details I’ve noticed that somehow for some of my products every variant started missing a metafield that has been previously assigned correctly and reviewed with the team and now is empty. I've texted the assistance but they didn't manage to solve my problem give me any kind of indications.

I've already checked my store activity logs and over there i cannot see any changes to the products. So i don't understand the reason why these metafields are disappearing. Do you have idea why this happens?!

We are noticing the same thing. Last month, we reviewed 100% of our catalog and made bulk-level corrections where needed. Now, we see instances where Age Group, Condition, Gender, MPN, Size Type, and Size System are erased.
