Suspended Google Merchant Center account

Google considers my account suspended. I think it's because of price changes. I've changed the prices on my webpage and then updated product feed. Because of this Google notified me that account is suspended. Here is the part of the reason:
"Your Merchant Center account is in violation of the following policies:
Misrepresentation of self or product (Untrustworthy promotions)
UNTRUSTWORTHY PROMOTIONS (MISREPRESENTATION OF SELF OR PRODUCT) "
After contacted to support they've reviewed and come back with the news:" We have reviewed the Merchant Center Account and the policy disapproval remains because the merchant center account continues to be in violation of our policy. "
And they've added: " unfortunately we will not be able to reinstate this account and the current status of the products and the account may be beyond fix. "
Have any of you had such a problem? If so, how did you resolve it? Does it make sense to contact support again and again? 🙂
Here is my web page Adorable Pots. We've checked and nothing's wrong with it too.
It's ridiculous how Google helps small businesses. I hope they'll consider that because of this reason account should not be canceled 😞

This in most cases is related to drop shipping. Which is not allowed on Google Shopping.

Only products you stock in your warehouse are allowed.

It may also be due to your contact details not being complete, such as missing telephone number, address, email.

 

But regardless of me mentioning the potential reasons, if Google says it's final, it will be final.

We don't use the dropshipping model. We have warehouse and ship items from here.

 

Also, the contact information is completed.

Someone says on Reddit that maybe the issue is because we don't have what payment methods on the footer of your site. What do you know about it, could it be the reason?

Yes that can also be a reason.

The best option is to add the icons of the payment methods you accept.

Hi, your contact page, requires telephone number, address, email address and contact form. Currently, that is not the case: https://adorablepots.com/pages/contact

No contact link from the footer.

 

You currently don't have any delivery info, how much do you charge, what is the expected delivery time and processing time, etc...

 

Add payment options in the footer.

This may be overlooked as you have a contact button at the top. So people going to your contact page, will not see it. The key to success is simplicity. The more complicated or the harder to find info you make it, the less successful your business will be.

 

10 years ago I worked for two great bosses in the UK, they were in there 50's / 60's and were out of touch of modern website design, but their knowledge of customers was amazing. One of the bosses taught me, treat your customer as if they are a child, ie: do not know anything. Do not know how to navigate, how to buy, etc... If you build your site in a way that a child can understand how to use it, then you are gold.

Looking online, many merchants are facing the same suspension reason since March. There's a huge uptick in posts all over for this same suspension reason since then.


We just recently got this suspension last week and are still looking on how to resolve.

There have always been suspensions, the issue is that merchants tend to not read Google's policy because it is overly long and complex.

 

The most common suspensions are :

Drop Shipping

Selling masks, santizers, gloves etc... which from April no new products are allowed. Only pre April are allowed to continue

Not having a valid address on the contact page

Having multiple businesses and or accounts

 

The issue is, a lot of merchants have unfortunately not followed policies. Which in a lot of cases I understand why, the ones that succeed are the ones that have either hired someone to give them professional advice or companies that have taken the time to read the requirements and make the required changes.

 

Not because it is easy to submit a data feed using tools, means it follows policies. Google has one of the most strictest policies, and most unforgiving consequences.

Hi, I can see that most of your issues with  Google's shopping policy have been fixed but I would also like to check your products page on schema checker. That might give you an idea of why your account is suspended.

yes thats correct, we have same merchant failure, also untrustworthy promotions and google dont want share any info

 

has to be COVID related, did you find solution?

Hello there.

 

The same problem happened to me. 

I set up the merchant center with the help of experts from google even then my merchant center account was suspended.

And 1 day later, my ads account was suspended as well.

Without ads my website traffic is going down and I don't know what to do.

1) popups that block the view of the page is not allowed, instead have it in the corner.

2) add a contact page with, business address, telephone number, email and contact form.

3) add a delivery page
