Why are customers not charged for shipping on my online store?

Argh im going crazy here!

Im not sure whats happened with shipping, assuming an update possibly, but over half my customers each day dont pay for shipping.

So from what i can see and they tell me, they select shipping but it defaults to pickup. So i gave it ago and they are right, but they dont read the next line that gives you the shipping options! 

Can this be changed so that there is 1 box to select and pay for shipping like it used to be??

Its such a pain chasing people and them having a go at me 😞

If you don't offer local pickup option, you can disable it by going to Settings > Shipping and delivery. Under "Local pickup" section, select your location and disable the "This location offers local pickup" checkbox and save. This will disable the local pickup option on the checkout page.

Hiya, thanks for the idea but i do offer pick up 😞 so sadly not an option
