Why can't I fully delete my account from Shopify?

How do I delete my account entirely from Shopify.

When I say delete, I mean erase all my data.

I have followed all the steps I was told to, signed some affidavit only to receive this reply:

Hello, 

We were unable to process your deletion request as it seems you have an active account with us. In order for us to action this deletion request, your Shopify accounts must be disabled and closed, and / or you must be removed from any active stores on which you are listed as a staff member.
