Why does my 'Buy It Now' button show a 'Transaction Failed' error?

hello when I click buy it now on my store u get the following message "transaction failed" "an error occurred while processing your checkout please try again" I don't know how to fix this

Are you currently in your free trial or on the "pause" plan? Both plans will have the checkout disabled until you transition the account onto a paid plan. You can check this by going to Settings/Billing. 

If that's not the issue, could you please provide us with the URL to your store and a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Hey Trevor,

 

I am experiencing the exact same issue and I have a paid stored. This is the error I receive when I click my buy now button. Also below is the link to the shopify preview

Based on the link you posted, you're trying to access the checkout when viewing the store via the editor. Checkout is not accessible while editing your store. It can only be accessed when viewing the store outside of the theme editor. 

 

Contacting Shopify Support will be your next step if that doesn't resolve your issue.

hi Trevor

i am having an issue with buynow button whenever customer clicks on buy now there is an error like this " checkout unavailable due to technical issue" , if added to cart then now issue, and my add to cart button is showing smaller than earlier. i have a paid plan for oneyear. 

please help
