Why is my new site not displaying images correctly?

Hi All,

 

Recently created a new shopify site, added all my products, and everything was ready to go. I switched from the shopify domain and connected an existing domain to the site. I went on today to check it and all my images are missing, the logo, everything is scrambled on the frontend.

Hey @Gen5 ,

 

Please do the following checks, 

  • Check on some other computer.
  • Check SSL is setup.

If problem is on all computer then please share your store URL to inspect it.

It says the SSL is pending on my domain, could this be the issue?

Hi, 

It shows the SSL is pending for the domain, could this be the issue? And will it be resolved once the SSL is no longer pending?

Yes, the SSL can be a problem

Thank you. I had connected an existing domain to the site, do I now just wait for the SSL to clear and hope it resolves itself?

 

The site URL is www.enhancebeauty.co.za - I see that its not working on other browsers and/or devices either.

Actually, your domain without www is setup but you not enter the website url with www

https://enhancebeauty.co.za/ this is working

https://www.enhancebeauty.co.za/ not working.

 

So you need to add domain in shopify with www

Thanks, I see the A records IP address is not updated either. Do you think updating this with the provider and waiting on the SSL to become active will help?

yes, please wait so that all record get populated, i belive you alread added the full domain name in your the shopify admin domains section
