All things Shopify and commerce
My Shopify store is not working. In the Shopify admin, everything works fine, but once I try to view my website on google or safari, it says that they cannot find the server. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hi, @quentinpollice.
Thank you for sharing your question here in the Shopify community!
I'm sorry to hear you're unable to access your storefront due to an error message appearing. Earlier today, Shopify experienced a 502 Bad Gateway which prevented merchants from accessing checkouts and storefronts. Our developers have since resolved the issue and you should now be able to access these areas. I'll share our Shopify Store Status page for better visibility as all service areas and systems are operational.
Since the error message you're receiving is cannot find the server, could you also share your store URL to see if we can replicate the error? I'd like to be able to identify if the storefront issue is related to the technical issue from earlier or if it's related to a localized issue.
Looking forward to your reply!

Hi Victoria,
I am having this same issue this morning. I have tried to log on from a variety of devices (phones, laptop, computer) but still get the same "server cannot open the page because the server cannot be found" message. I have tried the Shopify Status but everything is checking out fine and I can get into my Shopify app and see my store info etc. The problem seems to be just trying to get onto my website.
My website is framschams.com
Can you help?
Thank you!
Carolyn
Hi, @framschams.
Thank you for joining in on the thread!
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues on your end. Rest assured, I'll do my best to help troubleshoot the error.
To confirm, you're able to successfully log in to your Shopify admin (including the Shopify mobile app) however, you're unable to access your storefront. Could you advise what kind of browser and browser version you're using?
I was able to access your storefront on a desktop device using Google Chrome Version 103.0.5060.132. I was also able to access your storefront on a mobile iOS 15.5 device using Google Chrome and Safari browsers.
For better visibility, I'll share my view via screenshot using a Google Chrome browser on a desktop device.

This may be a localized issue as I was able to use different devices and browsers to access your storefront. To further troubleshoot, could you try the below steps?
Troubleshooting Steps:
I also had a chance to browse your storefront and learn more about your Framschams Chameleon Breeders business. I think it's great you've included an About Us and FAQ page to introduce customers to your brand's motto and create engagement and customer loyalty. For branding, I would like to mention that you're able to remove the powered by Shopify text from your storefront's footer. This can create a cleaner and more professional look in the footer section. Follow our steps in our resource on Remove Powered by Shopify from your online store.
