Why isn't Paypal appearing as a payment option at checkout?

Hi all!

I've just created a Paypal account and activated it on Shopify. However, when I do a test transaction and I get to checkout there is no Paypal payment choice anywhere to be found. The icon is in my footer but not an option in checkout. 

Please advise. Many thanks!

Try to ensure that PayPal actually supports the store's currency
