How to learn basics of Shopify as a developer.

Hi All,
I am a full-stack developer having 5+ of experience in RoR, Vue and React. I want to expand my expertise to Shopify. I just started exploring the options on Shopify and I think there are 4 major categories I can go with, 1. Shopify Apps 2. Marketplace 3. Custom Apps 4. Themes. Keeping my existing experience as a developer with other languages, which category should I start with and what is the best place to start?

Thats a good question! The main question is, what do you like to do most? Do you like to create complicated custom apps, or would you rather create an amazing frontend?

If you choose for the apps, and you have found something that is not available or can be done way more smart and efficient, choose to make apps or marketplace options for Shopify.

If you love frontend, then you can best start to create a theme! This you will do mostly with Liquid.
