Shopify Flow is an ecommerce automation platform that enables you to automate tasks and processes within your store and across your apps.
Every time I go to test my shopify flow automation to add a row to a spreadsheet, it consistently gives me this error, regardless of having made the sheet editable and sharing the sheet, inputting the sheet information. What am I doing wrong to link the gsheet?
It seems to be saying that your worksheet Tab name is not correct. It's also possible that something in the data you are sending is not allowed. It would help to see the configuration for the Sheets step, if you think the tab name is correct.
After connecting to the Google sheet, I am unable to connect it to any particular sheet to add a row in. Please help, when I click on Get this app, it shows the first screenshot.
Immediately after you add Sheets, it may not properly refresh the editor, so if you have not I would first try reloading the editor and see if you can access "Add row to spreadsheet". If that does not improve things, then I would check if you are using the Plus Admin toolbar to access Flow or the App. They handle connectors slightly differently...I would try to access/install it via the App.
If you are using the app, I might try to disconnect and then reconnect. It's possible that an error occurred during the connection that needs to be refreshed.
Thanks, I managed to access it after a while.
For me, I got around this issue by setting the Share to anyone with the link is an editor, as well as use the share link rather than the URL in the search bar.
Make sure the sheet tab name is the same, eg no extra spaces.
Good luck 🙂
