Our Shopify site is functioning as a B2B where only registered customers have access.
We sell 2 types of products in the store: At-Once items that are here and on the shelves ready to ship. The other are our Pre-Book items that are produced after the customers make their orders during a set time frame. We'd like both types of products to be offered in our Shopify site, but they can't be mixed within the same order.
A customer can not order At-Once and Pre-Book items within the same order. We have some logic built into our middleware and accounting software that doesn't allow items to be mixed within the same order. So a customer can only order from one or the other but not both.
I am looking for a way to keep customers from mixing these products. Is there a way to keep customers from mixing product types? Collections? Through fulfillment options? Warehouses?
Any help is much appreciated. I've been trying to figure this out for the last few weeks and not coming up with much.
