Are my products that ugly? :(

Hi guys, bit of sad here...


Just spent a few dollars in advertising, and after almost 1000 sessions, not a single "Add to Cart" has been done...

What could be the reason? One of my advertised products is this one:

The products look nice. Just got to think about the website from the view of your visitor on a mobile phone. Is it engaging ? Is it structured correctly ? 


Few things I'd add to product page 

  • Product Tabs 
  • Color Swatches 
  • Size (make them buttons) 
  • Buy it now button (color that jumps out and grabs someones attention) 
  • Product Description could be structured better

Not all traffic is equal - just because someone clicks to your website from Facebook or Google doesn't mean they will buy - or that they will buy right away. Your products are not ugly whatsoever. The main issue could be wrong promotion and high prices. Also, I am sure you are aware of it, but still, it might be quite challenging starting selling at this moment, since a lot of people are facing financial constraints because of not being able to go to work.  I also want to mention that you have great products, all you need is a better site and that requires some investments. With that being said, let's hop on to the tips that will help you improve the sales rate: 




-Increase the contrast of the image you are using for categories on your homepage. Right now it looks blurry and exposed (that might be on my monitor only though)


Product page 

-Write product descriptions. They not only affect SEO but also help customers make choices. 

-Use better product images. Add images of the painting hanging on a wall. 

-Write better product titles

-Allow zooming into the images, to see the fabric and smaller details 



-Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer


-90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential of every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site.


-The sale you have seems to be a nice deal, however, when you make such a big amount off it might devalue your product. People always need to know why you have made such sales, is it a seasonal sale? or is it because there is no demand on it? Does that mean the product is bad? 

Instead of giving discount for nothing, give them as rewards for completing certain actions on your store ex. for creating accounts, for leaving a review, for sharing your site, for spending money on your site. It is not difficult for a user to do and you will get so many actions on your site, and you are having discounts anyway.
