Feedback on my store- Views but no sales

Hi all 

I’m a new beginner and would need some

advice. So I launched a one product store yesterday with help of Instagram ad gained 55 visitor. I have used Insta add for my other shop which never gained this amount of visitors 

so I’m holding on to that this shop might be doing good since 55 visitors in 1 day ( not even sure if this is a lot of not ) 

My question is why 55 visitors and no sales

maybe my page don’t look trustworthy enough or not looking good?

I had viewed your website shortly and here are some of my points that I hope useful and you can implement on it easily.

You can use Target blank attribute on the links on the footer section and items on grid page, then customers are spent more time on your store.

You can show Testimonials on home page, And reviews on product page.
Add Testimonials: Creating a genuine testimonials are trust worthy. This is the one kind of marketing communication b/w customer and business person. So you can add efficiently.
You can increase your niche then visitors are spare more time.

Add Blog: You know creating/adding of blogs gives you a great way to generate fresh content on a website and provide a catalyst for email marketing, social media promotion to drive search traffic to your website.

Trust Badges: Trust badges your visitors know that your page is legitimate and that any data they share will be collected through secure third-party service providers. Your customers feel they can trust your website, And they are more likely to make a purchase.

Use hashtags on Instagram, It will reaches more people and increasing followers, you can convert those are into customers by providing discounts.

-you can add menu list more, like blog, products etc.

-About us section on home page needs to be good for visitors.

Logo: For Brand identity, you need a proper logo to represent your business as its missing on your website. It's a basic or important foundation for branding your business.

Front Images: Use good quality featured banner images with call to action button to captivate user attention.

Homepage: Homepage designs guides your visitors around your website. To engage visitors you need to work on homepage layout design. Include trust indicators on the homepage. Homepage content should be strategically decided. You can add ‘Call to action banner’ ‘New arrivals’, ‘Top selling products etc. on the homepage to engage users.

Trust Signals: Show off trust signals and customer testimonials to boost conversion. Customer testimonials and trust Signals build customer's trust and help customers to feel more secure in their buying decision.

Social Media Plugins: Integrating more social plugins on your website to increase traffic. Social media make your business visible and it expands conversion. Its a great way to connect with your new and existing users.

Improve ON Page / OFF Page SEO, links, usability, performance & social for increase more conversion & sale (Your page could be better)

Checked your site in page insight, your site score can be more better on mobile.

You need to work on your website performance’s speed. Low mobile page speed may kill your traffic and affect your conversion.

In order to Improve website speed we need to:
- Remove unnecessary code on a high priority basis.
- Compressed images or Defer off-screen images.
- Web Pages need to be Minified.
- Reduce JavaScript execution time
- Minimize main-thread work
- Beware of excessive liquid loops
- Decrease thumbnail image size

Hi @Safora21, Try adding a signup newsletter popup so customers will get a 10% discount code. You can do it with Klaviyo, this app also can help you with the abandoned carts.

Converting traffic to sales is one of the toughest challenges in running an online store, but your target audience is visiting your store which is good progress. Now you need to focus your energy on how to get these people checking your store to make purchases. Issues with conversion have more to do with your marketing strategies, pricing, and understanding of your target customers.
Check this feedback from a Shopify staff that I think has a lot of useful resources for converting traffic to sales.

To help improve your overall store experience, I will suggest adding a chat app to your store, this will make it super easy for these people visiting your store to contact you. Contacting you via email is usually a long process for a lot of customers. You can easily add a Whatsapp or Facebook messenger link to your store for free. So your customers can just click and reach you if they have any questions.

Awesome niche and congrats on your store! 

  • I would focus on ensuring your product photography is on more of your product pages - maybe see if you can get some friends to model the products with their pets
  • Regularly test your site speed and ensure everything is loading correctly.
  • Optimize your product pages by adding banners that highlight promo codes or any special discounts, customer reviews or information about the product, directly on the product pages. This will help guide your customers through education on your products.   • add a blog that would be a cool way to add some organic traffic and feature some collabs
  • I would also add some customer reviews, of course as you get them
