Feedback on New store

My store has been up for 3 weeks I have high traffic  but no sells. Can someone take a look and see what you think?

Add favicon.

You have too many images in the hero banner slides. And they are very low quality, change them. Your first image is your huge logo. It does not look professional.

Add more products to your store, so customers will have what to choose.

Add product reviews - nowadays people before to buy something, they always read recommendations and reviews - because it is a social proof.

You have a lot of items on sale - instead of giving sales, implement loyalty and rewards - give points and bonuses to the customers for completing certain actions on your store.

I’ve gone through your store and found that there are quite a few things missing on your store which if added can really make a lot of difference to the user experience, conversion rate and your overall sales. Here is a page-by-page/sectional review of your site:

  • Add logo and favicon

I have just had a look at your store. Congratulations on your new store. I have just some small things I'd suggest for your Homepage for a better chance of gaining sales. May it help!

1. You should improve your hero banner

The banner is very significant in hero material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. Let's get consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first.  



You can see there are 3 small things you can improve here. They are:

- Add a premium banner. It makes your site more professional and helps attract the attention of customers. Your pictures are quite blurry now, let's choose some images which have better quality than those.

- Display content on the banner. Beside letting your customers know what you're selling, you should let them see your sign. In the area I highlighted above, you can put some text about your store, who you are, what is your mission/vision or just your slogan.

- Last but not least, above hero content, you should lay a call-to-action button. It can be “Buy Now" or “View more" button

2. Make a highlighted header, menu and add more navigation tabs on the header

Sticky header helps customers easily access menu navigation although they scroll down or up on your page. Customers can also quickly reach the Search field to find products with a sticky header. Your menu is quite faint in your page that customers can not see it clearly.



You should put some tabs to show your product, for example, dresses, jumpsuits, tees, etc. They are more eye-catching than women and children. This gives a clear idea/outline of what they're selling to their customers right the moment customers land on their page. You can take a look at the homepage of Laneige US ( They have navigation tabs like Skincare, Lipcare, Makeup, Bestsellers, etc. 

3. Add more content on your homepage

Besides the hero banner, I suggest that you should add more information in your homepage. It can be your collections and product lists to make intuitively what you are selling, for example, the best seller collections. Besides, you can add blogs or reviews of your customer as testimonials.

4. Classify principal and secondary Call-to-action (CTA) button on your Home page

One crucial thing for an online store's home page is a primary call to action. With this icon, you are going to redirect customers to the page where they mostly want to take action. This also helps your store to improve its conversion rate. 



I found that you have very few CTA buttons in your homepage and collection pages, you should define which button is the principal one, which is the secondary one. They should have suitable styles (same color for same level of CTA). The principal buttons should be the most highlighted in your page. You can see the areas which I suggest in the picture below. You can set your button in the same position and same style on your page. It should be “Buy now”, “Add to card”, “View more”, ect.


5. Have Direct Links to “Return Policy” and “Shipping Info” in the Footer

Last but not least, you should display or link to an easy-to-read Return Policy or Delivery Policy information in your footer area. Because customers are not able to fully see, hold, or test a product before buying it online is one of the reasons many users sometimes exercise extreme due careful, closely inspecting images and reviews before buying. One of major factors for decreasing purchasing anxiety and reducing the consequences of purchasing the wrong product is by having liberal return policies.



In detail of shipping policy, I suggest that you should use ‘Delivery Date’ Instead of ‘Delivery Speed’. The customer won’t be worried about it containing the weekend or buying day. These tips will incentivize customers to make purchasing decisions.
