Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi everyone,
I’m building my first-ever website! I’ve been seeing some good traffic and a few are even adding items to their carts. But sales aren’t quite picking up yet.
Since I’m new at this, your insights could be a game-changer. How’s your experience with the website and the products? Are there areas that need a touch-up or a total revamp? Maybe a hiccup in the checkout process? I’m also in the midst of making changes to product pictures and titles—hopefully, that'll make a difference!
I’m all ears for any suggestions or ideas that could help me out here. I’ve also dabbled in social media, but I might need some pointers there too.
Thanks a bunch

Fantastic work! It's truly impressive, @DimchoTsanev . Nonetheless, there are a few areas we might have overlooked to enhance its value. Let's delve into these points together. I'm Garcia, representing the PageFly team.

Unfortunately, I can't delve into it via your main site. Could you provide an example so I can offer further optimization suggestions? Looking forward to our discussion!
UX UI
1. There are a few tools in Shopify that merchants can use to notify customers when they have added products to their cart but have not yet purchased them.
The current configuration of the website structure is causing confusion, and I find myself in a state of disarray, uncertain about how to locate the specific product I am seeking.
2. Using different color backgrounds for two adjacent sections
Employing distinct color backgrounds for adjacent sections can visually differentiate them and make the content more scannable for users. This can help users quickly identify the relevant information and navigate the website more efficiently.
3. Restructuring the home content system of Homepage
a. Announcement bar: some of the most effective elements include Limited-Time Offer, Call to Action Button, Special Events or Sales
b. Hero Banner: You can design it with more attractive visuals, utilizing Non-paid templates in some Page Builder applications is good ideas for a limited budget, instead of hiring designers. The countdown timer should be put in this place, for not extending the website
c. Featured collection
d. Unique selling points section
e. Christmas collection
No need to use any banner for each collection, it's a good idea, however it distracts the hierarchy of the website. Introducing banners for every collection can potentially disrupt the visual flow and structure of the website, making it appear cluttered and elongated. This example aims to streamline the user experience, ensuring a more concise and focused presentation of content for better navigation and engagement.
f. Should attach 3 more collections in HomePage
g. Benefits Bars
h. Add Testimonials section:
Newsletter is in the end of the website (above the Footer): On smaller screens, a newsletter section in the middle might take up a significant portion of the visible space, potentially affecting the user experience on mobile devices. It's crucial to consider how the placement translates across various devices.
4. Reset the countdown timer, and put it in the sticky announcement bar
5. Redesigning the Instagram section of a clothing store with more lifestyle images
Hope it helps!

Hey there,
Congrats on your first ever Shopify store! 🙂
Here are my suggestions for improving your website:
1. It would look better if the banner of the home page fits the whole screen, it would give more modern vibe
2. You could try and add less text to the images as it looks a bit heavy
3. In regards to the product carousel on the home page it would be good if you could remove some of the elements and add more space between them. Also, you could showcase a couple of products from different categories. That way you would be able to show the variety of products but in most organize way.
4. The spacing between all the elements is too small, and it looks a bit crowded. I would recommend to add more spacing and also reduce the amount of products that you are showing on the home page. As you have dedicated pages for the different type of products you are selling there is no need to add so many on the front page.
5. I would recommend to reduce the amount of text in this section as well:
You can just keep it simple with a couple of sentences.
6. Make sure to make your store intuitive and mobile friendly. SEO optimization is super important for the good performance of your site. Use tools like Ahrefs or Semrush in order to check you site score and get recommendation of how you can improve it.
7. It would be good to add a testimonial section as this build trust and also share your promo deals, reviews and etc. on social media.
8. I would advice on moving the 'subscribe' section right above the footer. It would look better organize that way.
I hope that this will help! Wish you a bunch of luck 🍀
Hi there,
Congrats on your new store! After checking it out, here are a few suggestions to make it even better:
1. Add more space in your design:
I think the spaces between elements on your site are a bit tight. It might help to add more space and use different colors to make it easier for people to read and find what they're looking for.
2. Show reviews in the cart:
Since some customers leave without buying, why not show reviews right on the cart page? It could be a good trick to convince them to go ahead and make the purchase. You can set this up using Ali Reviews or your current product reviews app.
3. Use exit-intent pop-ups:
Some customers just need a little push to make a purchase. Exit-intent pop-ups, which show up when a customer tries to leave your store, could be that final nudge or offer that convinces them to buy.
4. Use notifications and emails for abandoned carts:
Don't forget to remind customers about items left in their cart. Sending push notifications, SMS, or abandoned cart emails can help recover those lost sales. There are many apps to help you with this.
Best of luck with your ecommerce journey, and I hope your store sees lots of success in the upcoming shopping season!
Best regards,
