When it comes to having a large number of products, there are a few things to keep in mind in order to improve your visitor's experience. Here are some likes and dislikes to consider:

Likes:

  • Having clear and detailed product descriptions
  • Organizing products into categories and subcategories
  • Offering filters to help visitors narrow down their search
  • Providing high-quality product images from multiple angles
  • Offering user reviews and ratings

Dislikes:

  • Having too many products that are similar or redundant
  • Products with vague or incomplete descriptions
  • Products that are out of stock or discontinued
  • Slow website loading times due to large number of products
  • Difficult navigation due to cluttered categories and subcategories

Based on your current number of visitors, it may be beneficial to start by analyzing your website's analytics to see which products are the most popular and which are rarely viewed. This can help you prioritize which products to keep and which to remove. Additionally, consider implementing user feedback surveys or A/B testing to gather more specific feedback on product descriptions, organization, and overall website usability.

Hi there, @kanyewestnewmer.

Thanks for posting to the Shopify Community.

I understand you're looking for feedback on your store and a way to minimize the number of products in your store to increase visitors.

For tailored feedback, could you share your store URL?

In the meantime, I'd like to share some helpful tips and resources to help you boost brand visibility and increase store traffic.

Tips for minimizing products in your store:

  • Review your sales data. Take a look at which products are selling well and which ones are not. Consider discontinuing the products that are not selling well.
  • Focus on your best products. Keep the products that are popular among your customers and that fit with your brand identity.
  • Consolidate similar products. If you have multiple products that are very similar, consider combining them into one product with options. For example, if you sell different sizes of a shirt, offer them all under one product instead of separate listings.
  • Remove low-margin products. Analyze which products have lower margins, taking into account the cost of goods and shipping, and eliminate the ones that are not contributing to your bottom line.
  • Offer products that complement each other. Instead of offering a wide range of unrelated products, offer products that can be used together. This can help drive sales and increase the value per customer.
  • Consider dropshipping. With drop shipping, you don't have to hold inventory, which can help reduce the number of products you offer.
Having fewer products in your store doesn't necessarily mean lower sales. By focusing on your best products and optimizing your offerings, you can improve your store's overall performance.

Additionally, I'd also like to share tips on how to improve the customer/buyer experience while shopping online.

  • Simplify the navigation. Make sure the navigation is simple and easy to understand so that customers can easily find what they are looking for. Use clear labels for your menu items and make sure they are logically categorized.
  • Optimize site speed. Optimize your site's speed by optimizing images, reducing the number of redirects, and using a content delivery network (CDN).
  • Use a responsive design. Ensure that your website design is mobile-friendly and responsive. Test it on different devices and browsers to make sure your site is optimized for all screens.
  • High-quality visuals and multimedia. Use high-quality images and multimedia content to showcase your products and services. This can greatly enhance the overall customer experience and provide a professional-looking site.
  • Include customer testimonials. Include reviews and testimonials from satisfied customers on your website. It can increase customers' trust in your business and help them make a decision.
  • Provide clear and relevant information. Make sure that your website includes all the information that customers need, such as product descriptions, prices, shipping information, return policies, etc.
  • Offer customer support. Provide accessible and adequate customer support through various channels like email, chat, phone number or social media.
By implementing the above tips, you can elevate your customer experience on your website and increase customer satisfaction, which in turn can increase customer loyalty and attract new customers.
