How can I improve the first look appearance of my new store, ONESTOP?

I recently opened up my shopify store that goes by the name ONESTOP. I am very excited about starting out and joining this industry. 

I have done significant work in such little time (i know it needs some more work) with my store and i have made websites for clients in the past in other industries (non-sale websites). 

i would like to get some more information and tips on how i can make my store better and have a better first look appearance. 

I have already made my first sale without marketing and its exciting and its all up from here!

Congratulations on your new store! Overall, I think your page looks really great in term of designs and I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some recommendations to make it become a high-converting page.


1. HomePage:
- About Hero Section: The hero section plays a crucial role in capturing visitors' attention. I recommend you should resize both 2 current images that displayed in this section for better visual appeal.
  • For the first image, the text positioning should be balanced and avoid excessive empty space.


  • For the second image it appear too big and quite low-quality. This can affect user experience because they have to scroll down to find other information. It's better when you have another image with high quality and ideal size, I recommend it should be 1600 x 500 pixels.


- Add More Collections: To showcase a diverse range of products and entice visitors to explore further, I suggest adding collections featuring new arrivals or best sellers. For instance: 






- Customize Product List Section: Consistency is key to maintaining a professional appearance for our store. I recommend you should resize all product images to the same dimensions and ensure uniformity in display CTA buttons.


- Add Customer Reviews Section: Building trust and credibility is essential for attracting and retaining customers. Adding a testimonial section where customers can share their positive experiences can reassure potential buyers and encourage them to make a purchase with confidence.
- Customize Footer Section: The footer section serves as a valuable navigation tool for visitors seeking essential information about our store. 2. Product Page:
  • Add Cart Icon in Cart Button: I see your add-to-cart button does not include the cart icon. I recommend you should create a cart icon to encourage impulse purchases and streamline the user experience. It also enhances customer satisfaction by clearly indicating which products have been successfully added to the cart.




  • Adding a Countdown Timer: I recommend adding a countdown timer to create a sense of urgency by indicating that the offer or availability of the product is limited. This encourages customers to act promptly to avoid missing out. Here's a good example to follow:
