Is Shopify wrongfully withholding my $5000? Need advice!

(I WILL SUE)
Hey shopify community. I am in serious duress right now and my financial life is in a serious risk because of shopify.
I built my own store and used my own money (over $5000) to make test orders because of statistical status. That’s how I run all of my business and build connections. I guess shopify doesn’t know about that because not even 24 hours go by and they delete my whole store and send me a standard email talking about my payouts will remain with them because I’m “going against policy,”  does NOT go against company policy. I just read the whole thing. I have done absolutely nothing wrong and I’m being told I am for no reason. My other store “black tie” was shut down. I understand why because I was selling counterfeit items (Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Etc) that I didn’t know was wrong. I accepted that because they TOLD me exactly what I did wrong. So I leaned my lesson and made a new store. And then they sit there behind the screen and casually tell me all of my investments are gone FOREVER. I have financial pressure on me. This is wrong on every level and I will pusure legal action if I have to. Because no amount of legal words can describe this anything other than STEALING.

Hi there @IsaacKomakach!

Sorry to hear you're feeling frustrated with your store's status.

While we're not able to provide account support from here publicly, I'd like to ensure you're connected to the right place for your query.

Would you have been contacted by one of our teams about your store, via email to your account owner email address?

If so, you can check for any info they shared there and address any queries you have by way of a reply to that email.

It may not be possible to get specific info on why a given store is not available, though checking with the specialist team in question would definitely be the right place to ask about this.

I'd also check to see if any orders you might have made to test your store would eventually be refunded after a period of time, rather than being held permanently.

If you have not yet been contacted about your store, you can reach out for account support via our Help Centre here.

Thank you for taking time to write this, but this doesn’t help me at all. I have already tired to reach out multiple times and the only “why” I’m interested in is why is my situation not being taken seriously by the people who actually have controll. I don’t want to talk to any middle men anymore. If I truly lost everything I’ve worked for these last few days, I just wish I had a rewind button so I never used shopify in the first place. Maybe things will be better.

I already tried to talk to customer support when my account was on hold earlier. And they assured me that nothing was wrong with my account. A few hours go by and eveything Is gone out of nowhere.

Hi again @IsaacKomakach!

I understand you're feeling frustrated and want to be able to get more info on what's happening with your store.

When you contacted support previously, would you have been in touch with one of our escalated teams?

If so, this would be the place you can check for more info on any funds that may or may not be on hold for your store.

If you can share a ticket number from that interaction with me here, I can take a look to ensure your query is in the right place.
