Your store looks really great, it looks like you've put a lot of work into it and it shows! I particularly like your color scheme, and your logo pops out as soon as you visit your website!

The main thing I noticed is that it lacks some depth, so it is important to add more information to your website.

I noticed there is no main menu, and the footer menu could be added to, so I will mention some suggestions for you to consider!

  • Having an about us page is very beneficial to your store, and can tell more of a story about your business. Telling your story is important, and it will keep customers coming back to your brand. Having this as a part of your main menu is great as it is visible when customers come to your store! I will share a guide with you on how you could expand your story, putting more information in this can prove to be very successful for your store. That is an excellent guide about the power of an about us page. 


  • Another option you could use to build your store is by having a blog. Blogs are a great way to keep your customers engaged and encourages them to come back to view more content and newer products. I see you have a section for blog posts, but it is hidden down in the footer menu. I would move this to your main menu for visibility, and to add to this. Here is an awesome resource for Blogs!


  • Another thing I will mention is Social media. In your theme's footer, you have the option to link your website to your social media pages. This is very beneficial as it keeps traffic moving between platforms, but also will bolster your website. I see you have a Twitter icon linked, but it does not appear to be in the correct format, so I will show you how to get this within your admin. If you go to Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme settings > Social Media, you will see something similar to the image below. Be sure to enter in the correct format, which is shown below the text box.


From that image, you can see the format is always, simply enter any social media profiles you want to be associated, this in turn will boost your footer menu!

  • Add Testimonials at homepage
  • Clear product title and description , high quality images , reviews , related products , color swatch function, grey effect for sold out products , product labels , product quick view - All these features make your store much more convenient, authentic, easy to use and user-friendly.
  • Banner adding on Collection page - Make your collection page stand out with interesting & creative collection banners. Example of Good Collection Page
  • Add Promotional banner on collection page - You can show images of featured, bestseller or popular products on the collection page banner.
  • Add Product filter for easy navigation - Categorize & filter products by their size, colour or type so users find product to product navigation easy.Example of Ideal Product Page
  • Do Cart Page Modification : discount code , Gift wrapping , additional cart notes , delivery date picker, i agree with terms and conditions, trust badges, etc. - Personalize your customer's shopping experience with these features on your cart page.

Hey there @FosterJ ! You tried to come up with a store, but there are a few that I'd like to highlight - 

1.  Instead of choosing a blue background, try and have a black and white theme. This will be more neat and clean! For now, your product images are spoiling the look of the blue background! 



2. You need to work on your header menu! Apart from home, you can add product lists and categories! do have a look at how others have sorted their header menu! Always make sure that as soon as a user lands in your store, he/she should come to know what you're into just by looking at the header menu! 

3.  You have added social media proofs, but you should also add customer reviews and testimonials! This also contributes towards the authenticity of your Shopify store. 

4. Instead of having a static add to cart button, you can have a dynamic button - it adds ease while customers are out there shopping on your website. 

5. You need to work on your fonts. They are too basic. By choosing the right font you can make sure that customers are hooked on your store within seconds!
