Why am I getting high traffic but no sales on my product page?

Hi there,

I started running ads on my Shopify product page, and it seems the ads are performing well with a relatively high click through rate and low cost per click. Despite this, I have no add to carts and am confused as to why. I ran  Tiktok ads on the product for about 16 hours. Any help is greatly appreciated!

It's because your product page isn't optimized for conversion:

  • The header takes up way too much space.
  • No value proposition and very little social proof above the fold.
  • No trust seals
  • No FAQ section
  • You offer two color variants: white and black. But there are no color swatches, it's just plain text.
  • The add to cart button has the same background-color as the rest of the page, so it doesn't stand out.
  • There are no payment icons under the buy buttons. It's all the way down in the footer. Most visitors won't scroll all the way down.
  • The placement of the Why Choose Flusky section isn't ideal. It should be higher up, above the Image with text sections.
  • The product reviews don't look good. I see that you're using Judge.me as the review app, their default layout is poor. I always customize it.
  • Every reviewer has a faceless placeholder icon, get rid of it (with custom code).

I guarantee I could boost your conversion rate and generate sales. Check out some of my work examples and let me know if you're interested!

Hi @kabie001

I am Garcia from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App. I really like the simple and elegant design of the page. It's easy to navigate and I can quickly find the information I'm looking for. From my CRO expertise, I have some feedback for your Store and hope that they can help you increase the design.

1. Have Favicon

A favicon is an opportunity to reinforce your brand identity. By using your logo or a unique icon, it helps users quickly recognize and associate your website with your brand.

2. Reduce header size

I love your sticky header. However, it makes customers overwhelmed by a large header. It allows for more screen space to showcase content and products, ensuring that visitors can quickly navigate and find what they're looking for.

3. Add more products images

Having at least 3-5 product images for each product is crucial for facilitating a comprehensive visual evaluation. This allows customers to get a clear and detailed view of the product, which builds trust and confidence in their purchase decision. The images should be:

  • Always Show Products ‘In Scale’
  • Always Provide ‘Feature Callout’ Images
  • Images of Products from Multiple Angles

4. Make the button outstanding

Making the button outstanding is crucial for driving conversions on your page. It should be easily distinguishable from other elements on the page, using contrasting colors, clear typography, and strategic placement.

5. Display with the ability to “Load More”

"Load More" buttons are a better-performing alternative to pagination, as they inject more reviews

into the same page and reduce the perceived level of friction and wait time

6. Make use of holiday season

As the holiday season approaches and businesses prepare for events like Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) and Halloween, your products are exceptionally well-suited for this festive period. I strongly advise implementing these suggestions to maximize your presence during the celebrations.

  • Utilize Countdown Timers: Incorporate countdown timers for time-sensitive offers or flash sales to create a sense of urgency and encourage conversions.
  • Provide Holiday Gift Wrapping: Extend a gift-wrapping service at checkout to offer convenience to customers purchasing gifts for others.

  • Ensure Mobile Optimization: Verify that your website is fully optimized for mobile devices, as an increasing number of shoppers use smartphones and tablets during the holiday season. A seamless mobile experience will enhance engagement and drive conversions.

Cheers,
Garcia| PageFly team

Hey @kabie001

I think you changed the product page URL but I checked overall your store. It seems a well designed, classy store. Although you can work on navigation and work on creating urgency for your visitors.
