Why does my customized footer menu keep resetting on my unpublished website?

Hello, I have not published my website yet. I have on the footer several links, among those

About us

FAQ

I customized each template but it does not save. Everytime i go back, it is blank.

What am i doing wrong?

Just to gather some additional context, did you happen to make any custom coding changes to the theme? Also, would you be able to share with us which theme you are using? As this information will allow us to assist you further. Typically, you should be able to add your About Us and FAQs pages to the footer of the store using the Theme Editor
 
In some cases, clearing the cache from your browser can fix minor issues that you may experience with the Shopify platform. I would suggest giving that a try and making the edits to the footer once again to see if that does the trick. If the issue persists, you can try this action on another browser. For example, if you are using Safari - try this on Google Chrome.

Hi, thank you trying. Does not work. I cleared cache and cookies. 

under PAGES, I customized the template for FAQ and ABOUT US. They are both different when I see the customized templates BUT when i preview the page or I preview the customized site whatever I have on the link shows up... at one point it was the prefilled collapsible content block OR nothing if I make the above invisible. 

The customized PAGE does NOT show up! I am not sure what to do.

I appreciate you attempting to clear the cache to see if that did the trick. In this case, I believe it would be best to allow our live support to take a look into this and advise further.
