Why is my high-traffic Shopify store not generating sales?

Hello,

My name is Jacob from Shippee Ki-Yay. I have been selling my product for alittle over a month now. I started on Amazon and did very well. I just closed that listing and I want to sell the rest of my inventory on Shopify. I’m using Amazon MCF on Shopify.

My problem isn’t ads or getting traffic because I get about 150+ visitors a day. I also just optimized my page speed and am getting 95+ for mobile, and 100 for desktop on pageinsights. However I am getting no sales. I only have had one sale and that was awhile ago. Since I have really upgraded my page, I have only had high traffic but no sale.

Could some helping hands please give me some feedback on my store and help me understand why I am not getting people to buy my product, and what I can do. My website is www.ShippeeKiYay.com and I am selling a golf ball retriever. Please help.

Thank you.

Hi @ShippeeKiYay,

I’m Theodore White from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:

1. Adjust the hero banner at the top of the homepage

The banner is very significant in hero material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. Let's get consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first.

This is the “above the fold” area. It's better for your web design if you can display your hero banner in its entirety when your audience visits your site. Please recheck this part!

2. Increase spacing among sections

This would make the content more readable and the visitors will not easily overlook them.

3. Add a section about your brand story

A business can stand out with its brand story. A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more attractive.

4. Have a social feed

You can consider adding your Instagram photos to a section near the footer of the page. This can help keep your website fresh and make your visitors engage. Accordingly, the conversion rate will be enhanced. This is also regarded as a golden chance to increase brand awareness, so please don't miss out!

5. Have a benefit section

Adding a benefit section in the middle of the homepage will give your customers a reason to purchase from you instead of the competition. This helps reduce the bounce rate and increase the likelihood of purchase.

And that's my feedback! Hope it helps you boost the conversion rate.

Cheers!

Hello @ShippeeKiYay,

I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

It's great that you're getting consistent traffic to your Shopify store and that you've optimized your page speed. However, it can be concerning when you're not seeing the desired sales despite the increased traffic.

In addition to organic traffic, consider implementing targeted marketing campaigns such as email marketing, social media advertising, or influencer partnerships to reach a wider audience and drive more conversions.

Also, through consistent and high-quality blogging, you can improve your website's search engine rankings, drive more traffic to your site, and establish your brand as a trustworthy and knowledgeable source in your industry. By focusing on creating valuable content that addresses your readers' needs, you can build a loyal following and boost your online influence.

By showcasing your Instagram feed on your website, you can demonstrate social proof to your visitors. Seeing real-time updates, user-generated content, and positive interactions on your Instagram can build trust and credibility, encouraging potential customers to engage with your brand.

Dive into your website analytics to identify any potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement. Look for patterns or trends that could provide insights into why visitors are not converting into customers. Use this data to make data-driven decisions and refine your strategies.

Hope this helps

Gina
