Why isn't my online store getting any traffic or sales?

I need some advice and help my store isnt getting much traffic nor any sales if you could help with whats going wrong with it. www.akso.co.uk

Hi. 

Your site needs work, you may want to check the header (top bar) and maybe reduce it a bit? Also you should change the font. 

About the traffic, are you running any paid campaigns? If not you should enroll in Google Merchant Center (which is free) to submit your products to Google Shopping. You can do that using Shopify's inbuilt sales channel.

  • Resize the navigation bar

Currently, I saw that your navigation bar is a little bit too thick. One of the main drawbacks is that it takes up valuable screen space, which can limit the amount of content and information you can display on your store.

You can resize the navigation bar to fit and to show more content of the Hero Section.

 

  • Re-created Hero section

This section plays an outsized role when it comes to setting the tone of a webpage, while attracting attention, and compelling action. But currently, your hero section is just an image, without CTA or clear title to attract customers.

You should add a clear headline and subtitle, follow up with an attractive CTA. The key here is to convey all visitors need to know about your product, as quickly as you possibly can.

 

  • Ensure the ‘Add to Cart’ Button’s Styling Is Unique 

Amidst the sea of information on a store: product images, descriptions, cross-sells, and banners, among others; the primary "Add to Cart" button can get lost, leading to confusion and frustration.

It's essential to style the "Add to Cart" button in a way that distinguishes it as the primary button on the page. You can change the color, border, etc of this button. 

 

  • Utilize the holiday season

Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) is a prime time to promote fashion items like hats, socks, and other accessories. Here are some campaign ideas tailored to these products:

  • "Hat-tastic Deals" Flash Sales: Launch hourly flash sales on different hat styles, including beanies, caps, and fedoras. Create a sense of urgency to encourage quick purchases.
  • “Mix & Match Madness” Promotion: Encourage customers to mix and match socks and hats for a personalized style. Offer discounts  when they buy combinations.
  • “BFCM Mystery Grab Bags Sale”: Offer mystery grab bags of hats and socks at a discounted rate. Customers love surprises, and it can drive excitement.

Having a single product in your online store, like hats, provides a unique opportunity to focus all your efforts on promoting and maximizing the potential of that product. You can consider these options:
- Prepare a landing page for holiday season theme with the combination of some important elements: countdown timer, exclusive discount, free ship offer, ... and don't forget to bring the holiday spirit by related graphics, images... 
- Highlight brand features: is the hat made from eco-friendly materials, how you pack your order, why your hat different from other brands, ... and a video interact with the hat will bring customers' attention
Use high-resolution images that showcase your product from various angles. Write detailed, persuasive descriptions that highlight its benefits.

Share the story behind your product. Explain why you created it and how it can benefit your customers.
Use platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok to showcase your hat in creative ways.
There are a lot of marketing ways to promote your product and hope that it can help you.

  • Include a concise and attention-grabbing headline that conveys the essence of your hat or your brand's message. For example: "Elevate Your Style with Our Premium Hats" or "Discover the Perfect Hat for Every Occasion."
3. Subheadline:
