Hi everyone!

I've been trying to optimize our store, specifically the two values mentioned in the title (CLS on desktop, and Performance on mobile), but I'm running out of ideas as to where to improve, or what's even causing it. We're using Dawn Theme.

Our store:

Latest readings:

Any tips on what to change or where to look for would be much appreciated!

First, your images are not optimized. The size of the images is incorrect; it should be 364.5x364.5, but currently, it is 1024x1024, causing parts of the collection list to become LCP (Largest Contentful Paint). For the banner images, you should set the loading attribute to "eager."

I also noticed you have two Google Tag Managers. Change them to load on user action for better Total Blocking Time.

Where do you see that it is currently "1024x1024", but should be 364.5x364.5? This is the part I'm struggling with. Finding where the dimensions are currently stored.

And where is the choice of "eager"? I'm in Dawn theme also.

Thank you for any help.

As other suggestions mention, optimizing images will give you a quick win. If you defer 3rd party javascript using page speed optimizer apps, it will address remaining issues.
