Hi @spraygang
I'm CiCi from Boost Commerce, which is the creator of Product Filter & Search - a solution that grows more sales for online stores by optimizing the product discovery experience. Back to your question, I think you should go check your store on Google PageSpeed Insights. Here are some screenshots of the analysis. As you can see, they suggest you optimize images, reduce unused CSS, JavaScript, and so on to speed up your page. Besides, you can check whether your site is mobile-friendly or not by clicking the tab mobile on the header. The report also comes with an in-depth analysis and recommendations.
This all I have to say, if my answer helped you, please like and accept it as a solution ✅

Hi, @spraygang!
Mac from Shopify here! Thanks for posting this question and sharing your store link. I’m happy to help.
There are many variables that we need to consider when it comes to increasing website speed. There are a few factors that you cannot control like your customers device, network, and location. Focusing on the factors that you can control, I'd recommend reviewing the apps you have installed and take in consideration if they're essential for your benefits. Oftentimes, a large collection of apps can slow down your website as they add code into your theme. Check out our helpful guide on the balance between online store features and speed to determine which apps are considered essential. My next suggestion is to review your store's theme and consult your theme developer. It looks like you are using a third-party theme so you can contact your theme developer to learn more about factors that are affecting your store speed. For more context, you can share your PageSpeed Insights to determine what you can do to increase the speed, like, reducing initial server response time, serving images in next-gen formats, and properly sizing images.
Another large contributor to site speed are images and videos. Although Shopify has a few safeguards that help prevent overloading your store, I'd recommend checking out our image optimization guide to learn how to upload the most effective media.
If you are not too proficient with code, I recommend speaking with Shopify Experts. Hi, @tyrewaale123!
Thank you for joining the conversation and sharing your store link. I'd love to help.
Firstly, I recommend reading through this thread as you will be able to find some great suggestions that will increase your store speed. I was able to run your store through the PageSpeed Insights test and found your speed to be very moderate on desktop, and low on mobile. There are many opportunities to help your pages load faster like, reducing initial server response time, eliminating render-blocking resources, serving images in next-gen formats, and properly size images. A major contributor to this may be the use of apps as they insert scripts into your theme that may slow down your loading times, so it is a great idea to review the apps that you absolutely need. Another suggestion is to convert your images to formats like WebP and AVIF, instead of PNG or JPEG as they often provide better compression. Along with optimizing your images, it is important to properly size them, so that they can save cellular data and improve load time.
I also noticed that you have a section here in which these logos are animated:
Although they provide a great aesthetic, this will likely slow down your loading times as an animation is required. In this case, it may be a good idea to remove the spinning animation.
Another suggestion is to contact Shopify Experts if you are not comfortable optimizing the theme. This is a marketplace that connects you to professionals in a variety of fields related to your e-commerce business. Doing so will allow you to outline your exact requirements and specifications to speed up your store. If you would like to know more about finding the right Expert, please click here.

To increase the website speed, you need to follow one of the best tools is https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/. The reason is ultimately you are following Google search engine and this is a free site speed tool provided by Google itself for free so why need to go for other tools? Also, it is giving solutions or recommendations if website speed is low.
1. The opening speed of the theme is not fast enough. This is related to the function of the theme and the ability of the developer. Before deciding to use a theme, in addition to the introduction of the theme itself (ThemeForest will have many Shopify theme descriptions) Open the speed score for reference), it is also recommended to use speed measurement tools such as Webpagetest to test the theme's Demo site;
picture.
2. All pictures are to use TinyPNG lossless compression. The filename of each image is also to be renamed and then uploaded to Shopify.
3. Unused apps are deleted from the background in time. If the data report tested with Webpagetest shows that an APP has seriously affected the opening speed of the website, it is recommended to find other alternative APPs.
by the way, My site faces the same problem and regrets choosing the current theme.
Every user who buys dog clothes through Kuoser is complaining about the loading speed of the page.
