How can I improve category filters and tags on my platform?

I have a question regarding the filters and tags of categories. My products are from platform, but the platform is creating their own categories and the tags are also showing up on the website according to their references. The categories are all made but through the automated categories I can not make it to look visually good. Everything is mixed up. Does anyone know how to fix this problem, except hiring Shopify expert ?
