Hi Community,

I have a website https://noorkids.com/ and i am trying to work on its speed for a while. I am following suggestions given in Google Page Speed and GT Metrix but i am not getting the desired result. I have even used an app to improve the page speed but didn't get the result.

Can any guru help me to improve the website speed?

TIA.

Regards.

Hello @Muawwiz

I have checked your site in the Google Page insights tool. There is a low score on your website. It needs to be improved, especially on mobile device.

Below are some factors that might impact the speed of your online store, and how you can address them.

We’ve had the best success for our clients by working with our developers to implement the lazy sizes because it's quite complicated for non-technical people.

You need to work on the following points:

  • Theme Upgrade if there is a scope and upgraded theme available
  • Reduce JS Payload.
  • Use Critical CSS.
  • Reduce Large Image Sizes
  • Migrate Tracking Codes To Google Tag Manager
  • Compress Images
  • Limit Third-Party JavaScript & Shopify Apps
  • Preload Web Fonts.
  • I suggest limiting it to one and using a standard web font.

Note: Pass core web vitals that is the most important for the Website speed.

By fixing these issues, your website speed score can definitely improve.

If anything needs to be included or clarified then feel free to ask.  We will surely help you.

Hello Muawwiz,

Here are some suggestions for you:

  1. Compress large images on the website using SEO tools, like SEOKart, to reduce the file size of the images without hampering their visual qualities.
  2. Reduce the number of redirects on the website, as redirects increase waiting time for the users.
  3. Implement AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), which is an open-source HTML framework, which enables Google to store cached versions of the pages on the mobile server, to reduce the loading time of the website on mobile devices.
  4. Implement lazy loading for the advertisements, which is a technique that is associated with identifying the resources on the website and increasing their waiting time to load, to allow other critical resources on the website to load.
  5. Utilize CDN (Content Delivery Network), in which proxy servers are created all across the globe where the cached versions of web sources are saved. Thus, when the search is carried out, the source is made available from the closest server, which reduces the waiting time for the users.
  6. Remove unused JavaScript and CSS, as when you uninstall apps or software from the website, they leave some residue in the form of JavaScript and CSS codes; however, they are dead code and are of no use to the website.
  7. Compress scripting on the website
  8. Enable browser caching to allow the browser to store the cached versions of different pages of the website to reduce the loading time of the website.

Hope it helps!
