How can we access old sales reports after leaving Shopify?

Hi Shopify,


Our company was a customer of Shopify before but we are no longer one now. However, we'd like to ask how can we retrieve the sales reports without the account anymore. We need the reports so that we can finish my company's bookkeeping. Please help!

That's a great question. Thank you for asking!

If you decide to leave the Shopify platform you are responsible for taking any necessary documentation with you by utilizing the 'Export' option for data such as this.

That being said, under certain situations we are able to provide you with temporary access to retrieve this data. As such, visit our Help Center and log in to your old account to create a support request through live chat, or email. Once you have logged in to your account, type your request in 'Ask about a topic', scroll down to 'Get Support', and then click 'Continue.'

Please note, however, if you have amounts owing on the account in question, you will not be able to access the necessary data until the balance has been paid.
