Why is my checkout page loading slowly and how can I fix it?

Hello. Im having the circle of death at my checkout. I've done speed optimization multiple times,. Im having a major cart abandonment issue! Please help! Is that a server or what? What’s the problem and how to fix it???

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'd like to investigate this further with you, especially as you mention you are experiencing slow load times on the checkout.

Site optimization, while still very important, shouldn't affect checkout times assuming you are not using any third-party apps that are slowing the checkout down. To make sure I have the full picture, I'd like to run some tests on your site myself and see if I can replicate your experience.

Can you please share the following with me:

• your store URL
• whether or not you have a plus store with customizations made to your checkout.liquid
• a screenshot example of your experience at checkout
• any recent customer complaints of said issue
• timelines of when this started occurring, and if you added any extra apps or code to the site that could be related

This will give us a better understanding of what is going on, and make it clearer what steps we can take going forward.
