Why isn't my store's logo appearing on Google?

I would like my shop's logo to show on google. Here instead of the world logo.

Anyone knows how to add it?

Thank you for posting this question!

If you've just added the logo to your store, then it could take some time for search engines, like Google, to re-index your store. While search engines will do this automatically from time to time, there are some options that you can do to speed up this process. However, you can also choose to wait a couple of days and see if Google is able to index your pages by then.  

If the logo isn't appearing, then you can use one of the following methods:

• You can find and submit your sitemap
• Ask Google to recrawl your URLs using Google Search Console 

That being said, I'd love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What kinds of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?

Hi @Anna65 

The logo that shows up on Google search with your website is called a favicon. Google recommends a minimum resolution of 48x48px.

You can upload it by:

Going to Online Store > Themes > click Customize.

On the left hand side, click on Theme settings. (a wheel icon).

Look for Logo (or Favicon depending on your theme). Click on it.

Upload your logo and click save.

Thanks so much for joining the thread and sharing these steps!

My mistake for thinking that @Anna65 had already added their logo as a favicon and it wasn't appearing on Google yet. As such, I would also like to share our guide on adding a favicon to your store for @Anna65 and others that may also be struggling with the same issue as well. There are free favicon generators available that can found by searching on Google and they can help with creating the favicons/logos. 

That being said, while 48x48 is a recommended size by Google, it's worth noting that Shopify's recommended size for favicons is either 16x16 or 32x32 as anything above that will be reduced to 32x32 when uploaded onto Shopify.
