Why isn't updated product description showing on our final order page?

We have the Sahara theme installed and after going into change 80% of our products for personalization we had a company add baubles with lengthy descriptions for customers to answer. To streamline it better for the customer we shortened these descriptions in the Theme settings; products and then Name or Text, Message or Text, Design Layed Text and then Upload logo or clip art area. Our problem is the shortened text is not showing in the "final Order page" that we print out for each personalized order. It shows a lengthy description. I cannot get the  screenshots to upload as to what I am talking about. The company we hired will no longer help and we want to fix this ourselves if we can. Thank you for any help that you can give.

Hi @engraver When seeking free contributions increase the effort in making the work someone else would have to do as close to zero as possible.

  1. The attached order CSV file is empty, regardless avoid uploading order exports unless you clearly do not include any customer information.
  2. And despite the long description you have not provide any actual technical information about the implementation, nor any examinable resources.

 

So you've made it all guesswork, if this personalization uses line-item-properties, or cart attributes then that's what you need to expose in the relevant areas capable of showing such data.

If it's drafter order custom items then you need more advanced automation probably.

 

Line item properties, and cart attributes are an advanced customization and common topic research it.
