How do small Shopify stores handle "where is my order?" emails without paying $500/mo?

I just respond to all of the emails.
If it’s the same questions over and over do a draft email where you can copy and paste those same answers.
Many times the customer asks about their order and doesn’t send an order number so we can look it up.
