Abandoned Cart Recovery Emails are not sending. Says “Inventory was not available at the time of email delivery” even though I’ve added 100,000 inventory and made a unique SKU trying to debug why it’s not working… it’s still not sending.
This product is an “on-demand” product that uses the an add on that allows users to add their unique image to each order. I’m not sure if that’s what’s causing this or what, as they used to send out OK but stopped some time in late March.
Our cart abandon rate is high and conversion rate is low, and these emails had a really high recovery rate and with the discount added people did convert on otherwise abandoned carts, so we’re losing sales daily because of this issue and have been for months now.
Please help!
To clarify this is the Abandoned Cart emails automation provided by Shopify, not a third party app.
These are piling up everyday without sending out. I should note, too, that SOME of them do send out, for other more typical products that are NOT customizable. So it seems to be an issue with some products and not others. Keep in mind these did used to send out for both types of products, so not sure what has changed…
Any insight?

I get the same error also with my customised products. I assumed it was due to me configuring my customising software to delete the customised product after 30mins. I have changed it to 7 days and am confirming with the developer that this change is the solution.
Will keep you posted.

Just had confirmation from the developer that the issue was the deleted product and the 7 day fix will fix the issue.
