I am currently connecting Shopify to my Youtube store to sell products.
If the product has many variations and options, I am having trouble displaying the product for each option on the Youtube store.
What I want to do is display only one product, even if it has many variations. And I want Shopify to do the selection of variations.
Is it possible to make such a setting when registering a product on YouTube?
I have the same issue. Youtube is showing up 100s of variants products.
I simply need to show one product and not it’s variants.
How to solve?
Same problem. All of my products with variants have item_group_id values, so they should be grouping. Did YouTube’s Merch Shelf stop respecting the group-id recently?

For assistance on Youtube formats their products on their channel, I would recommend reaching out to them directly for more information. From within their app, you can select the “Get Support” option in the channel - When “Get Support” is selected it will bring you to a contact form that goes directly to Google Support.
