Acquirer Reference Number for Refund

Hi,

We processed a refund for a Shopify order on Aug 8. Based on the timeline, the customer was refunded on Aug 9. It’s been 3 business days since then and the Acquirer Reference Number is still unavailable. I figured out later that ARNs are not available for Discover accounts.

How can I reach out to support to get a Refund Transaction ID for this order? Thanks in advance.

You can reach out to Shopify support to get the Refund Transaction ID for this order by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin account.
  2. Click on “Help” in the main menu.
  3. Type “Refund Transaction ID” in the search bar and look for relevant articles or support links.
  4. If you can’t find the information you need, click on “Contact Support” at the bottom of the page.
  5. Choose the method of contact you prefer, such as live chat, email, or phone support.
  6. Provide the support team with the order details and explain the situation regarding the Acquirer Reference Number and Discover accounts.

They should be able to assist you with the Refund Transaction ID. Thank you!
