Hello can anyone please help add add to cart and buy button in Highlight theme. Thank you so much
Hi, @Onhin1 . I’m happy to help you out with this! Are you making any other customizations to your theme at the moment? Also, were these buttons appearing previously or have they always been missing for you?
You can add buy buttons to your theme within your theme editor. To get there go to Online store > Themes > Customize (next to the Highlight theme you want to edit). From here, select your Default product template at the top of the page to open the template used for your product pages. Then you can click Add block under the Product information section to add the Buy buttons block to the page. Once the block is added you should see your ‘Add to cart’ button and dynamic checkout button appear. You can also click the Buy buttons block to find any settings available for that block. For example, the setting to include the dynamic checkout button. I’ve shared a screenshot below to help explain this. This guide on using sections and blocks to customize your theme can help as well.
Please let me know if you have any questions after trying that out!
On my end there are no add sections or add blocks it all need code to add feature
I have no idea on how I can add buy button and add to cart button in collection page
Hi, @Onhin1 . I’ve tested the Highlight theme on my end and there are sections and blocks included with the theme so that you can customize it without editing your theme code. Can you tell me more about how you added the Highlight theme to your account and the steps you are taking to find these settings? Do you also have any examples of what you see in your theme editor?
It looks like with the Highlight theme, the “Add to cart” button will appear if you hover over the product you want to add. If your product has variants the button will appear as a “Choose options” button instead, which will open a preview of the product right on the collection page. I haven’t seen a setting to move this button, but it’s still possible it exists within your theme settings. I recommend looking through the sections and blocks available in your theme editor. To get more information on the features available with this theme I’d also recommend you speak directly to your theme developer. Since this is a third party theme, we won’t have detailed information about this theme’s features, but your theme developer will better understand the options with this theme. You can contact them through the contact information listed under the “Support and documentation” tab on the Highlight theme listing page here.
