Add Adobe Font to Broadcast Theme

I have read many posts & tutorials on adding a custom Adobe font to my broadcast theme and none of them seem to work as expected.

Could someone, please let me know what I have to add to the theme.css code ( I have added the Web Project snippet under head on the themem.liquid) to have all text use only the Adobe font. I am struggling in particular in getting Subheading to recognise it.

Did you try to upload those font file in shopify content area and call in the theme file.

Thank you for your reply. As it is an Adobe Fonts, they are not downloadable to upload to the assets.

Hello, You need to copy the adove fonts https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/add-fonts-website.html. then add the link in theme liquid and change the font of elements it will work. let me inform you are able to sovle

1. Add the Adobe Web Project snippet to your theme.liquid file:

  • Locate the section in your theme.liquid file
  • Paste the Adobe Web Project snippet inside the tags
    2. Update your theme.css file:
  • Open your theme.css file
    - Add the Adobe font to the font-family list for body and headings:
body, h1, h2, h3, p {
  font-family: 'Your-Adobe-Font', sans-serif;
}

3. Style subheadings specifically:
- In your theme.css file, add a class for subheadings:

.subheading {
  font-family: 'Your-Adobe-Font', sans-serif;
}

4. Replace ‘Your-Adobe-Font’ with the actual name of your Adobe font

5. Save both files and refresh your theme

6. If issues persist, check for any conflicting CSS and ensure the font is properly loaded

Remember to replace ‘Your-Adobe-Font’ with the specific name of the Adobe font you’re using.
