Add Upload Image Button to Product Page - Dawn Theme

Hello,
My store sells customized portraits which requires the customer to upload their image. How do I add an “upload image” button. I have seen these standard “Choose File” buttons, but no instruction for the dawn theme.

To add a feature like this to your online store it’s best to use a third party app that can add more customization options to product pages. I’ll include a list of some popular apps that do this below. Each of these apps have the option to add a file upload button. You can also find a larger list of product customization apps in the Shopify app store here.

Another option to do this would be to edit your theme code. We have a guide on editing theme code here. If you’re not comfortable doing this on your own, a Shopify expert can help you. Our app, Kickflip, allows your customers to upload an image and then visualize the result on your product. You can then download a print-ready file and the original image. You can learn more about our image upload feature here.
