I’m currently using the theme Origin which is mainly used for single product stores on Shopify. I only have one product and have the featured product as the main image on my home page. Despite having multiple product photos, only the main product photo shows up and there’s no way of getting more than one image on the home page where the product is. I was hoping to get a similar effect to the attached image.

In Origin theme, you just go to “add section”, then select “Featured products”, then select items you want to show on homepage.
To show multiple product images and variants on your Homepage, then trigger sales much better, you can try EComposer Product Grid and Product box elements:
