Additional information on product page

Hello! I was wondering if it’s possbile to add more than 100+ words on the metafields on product page or if it’s any other way to add additional information to a variety of products. Thank you!

Yes, it is possible to add more than 100 words to the metafields of a product page on Shopify. However, metafields have a limit of 64 KB of data per metafield. If you need to add additional information that exceeds this limit, you have a few options:

  1. Create multiple metafields: You can create multiple metafields for the same product and split the information between them.

  2. Use additional product fields: You can add additional information to your products using the “Product description” field or custom fields created with the Shopify API.

  3. Use a custom section: You can create a custom section for your product pages and add it to your theme code. This way you can add more text and media content to your product pages.
